He starred along with Malachy McCourt in the two-man play production of Bill C. Davis's Mass Appeal at the Cape Playhouse (America's oldest summer theatre) in Dennis, Massachusetts during the Summer of 2002, and was a hit with critics and audiences.

2003 Safe (as Truss)
In the Summer of 2003 he starred alongside Coby Bell, Yvonne Jung (Third Watch co-stars) Henry Afro-Bradley and Calyn Glynn (Tony Award Winner) at the Imua! Theatre Company's production of Safe which was co-written and directed by fellow Third Watch star Anthony Ruivivar.
The play opened June 12th at the off-Broadway Jose Quintero Theater. He portrayed Truss in a play that finds five people stuck in a bank safe during a robbery. The play was originaly set to run June 12-28, but an additional nine shows were added, July 8-17 because performances were being sold-out.
Set in a bank safe after a botched robbery, Safe revolves around the forced camaraderie and conflicts which develop between give complete strangers with nothing in common but their survival instinct. Paranoia fear and guilt begin to set in and uncover the core of each of these characters' true selves, leading to some startling discoveries. The unlikely group traverses a myriad of dilemmas in their quest to escape — forever changing their lives.
Jason Wiles is the most outspoken and crazed member of the stranded quintet, Coby Bell is Ryan the character Truss clashes with Yvonne Jung as Sabina, a ditsy young teller, Carlin Glynn is Feliz, the just-stay-calm bank manager, and Henry Afro-Bradley is is Oakley, the grumpy security guard who has been whacked over the head.
